Theater performance with audio description in Spanish!
Thanks to the work of the students of the University of Montclair, Repertorio Español will have a special event for blind people who speak Spanish.
Students of Spanish at MSU are working on a theater project with audio description in Spanish live through the use of headphones. The service describes by audio everything that happens on stage during the performance. The play will be "El coronel no tiene quien le escriba" by Gabriel García Márquez.
Repertorio is looking for blind people interested in attending the work. Each ticket costs $ 20 and scholarships are available.
The play will be at the Repertorio Español in NYC on Saturday, May 4 at 3 pm.
